A road race is a sporting event that can be viewed in your own neighborhood and in some cases, right from your front yard.  Communities that have cultivated this type of event are rewarded with an enjoyable yearly tradition to look forward to.

Although some of the runners seem very focused on their race, be assured that they appreciate your words of encouragement as they pass by.  They appreciate fans and spectators gathered in their front yards enjoying the event.

Some fans, turn it into a picnic or party in their front yard and that can become a yearly tradition.  Races with strong, positive community involvement are the most successful races.  It is fun for the fans and fun for the runners, too.  The fun will begin on June 8th, Saturday morning shortly after 9:30 a.m.  Please come out and welcome these guests to our town!
